While I started off writing a “regular” newsletter this month, so many thoughts and ideas kept crowding my mind that I gave in and veered waaay off course. The reason being this – Fat Cats turned eight on the 22nd of June!!! It still blows our minds that our little corner in Wanowrie, Pune continues to bring us so much joy day after day, year after year and we’ve been feeling super nostalgic this past month.

Over the last eight years, Fat Cats has stood witness to both Sunil and I losing a parent each, getting married, moving in together, adopting a dog, sending a kid off to University, expanding our Fat Cats team, opening (and closing down) two more cafes, experimenting with countless menus and specials and marketing plans, investing both financially and emotionally and building a family of the best customers a business could ever hope for. We have been through enough “life lessons” to fill a book but I thought a newsletter would be simpler and sweeter, so without further ado, ta – dah! ?
